Emily Scott Pottruck
Emily Scott Pottruck is a former Wall Street executive and corporate marketing consultant who now devotes her energies to volunteerism and philanthropy. After years of being published in "letters to the editors", opining to her heart's content, she found it was just as enjoyable relating other people's viewpoints and stories. Emily received a BA from Simmons College and an MBA from Cornell University.

She lives in San Francisco with her husband, David, and has two adult step-children and two granddogs. She is an unrepentant lover of dogs, especially her own two Yorkshire Terriers, Andy and Boomer. Emily is also an obsessed golfer and crossword puzzle/sudoku fanatic.



Lacy Atkins
Lacy Atkins divides her time between working on National and International news and sports coverage as a staff photographer for the San Francisco Chronicle. She previously worked for Hearst's San Francisco Examiner from 1997-2000 and joined the Chronicle when the papers' staffs merged in 2000.

She was a finalist for the 2000 Pulitzer Prize for her photo of U.S. women's soccer stars Brandy Chastain exulting after her wining goal in the 1999 Women's World Cup.

Atkins studied photography at Oklahoma State University. She left to pursue positions as a staff photographer at the Tulsa Tribune, Santa Monica Evening Outlook, Los Angeles Daily News, Los Angeles Times and Associated Press/San Francisco.

Atkins lives in Fairfax, California, with her dog Lexy Jane and cat Max. She spends her free time sailing the waters of San Francisco Bay and the Pacific.



Jocelyn Knight
Jocelyn Knight, a respected free-lance photographer, earned a degree in photo journalism and started Jocelyn Knight Photography in Marin in 1981.

She enjoys working with animals as well as people. In addition to environmental portraits, Jocelyn photographs, events, sports, and flora and fauna for her fine art collection and greeting cards. Numerous trips to Guatemala created a traveling documentary exhibit of the native Mayan culture. An avid horsewoman, she loves any assignment involving horses.

Clients include: Lucas Film, Ltd., Guide Dogs for the Blind, Monterey Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco Botanical Gardens, Ross Valley Nursery School, Happy Feet Dance School, and Black Mountain Ranch. Her work has been published in the New York Times and the Marin Independent Journal, as well as in various magazines, brochures, and books.

Jocelyn, a fifth generation San Franciscan lives in Marin County, California, with her husband, James, their teenagers, Dominic and Maria Elena, Oso Romeo (a Rottweiler), two cats, a rabbit, and a rescued parakeet. Her daughter calls her "Dr.Doolittle" because when she talks to animals they seem to understand her...



Leslie Waltzer
Leslie Waltzer, owner of Crowfoot Design, designs books for Bay Area Publishers including Berrett Koehler and Tenspeed Press (The Art of Henna, Taking Tea with Macintosh, The Complete Fasting Handbook and The Resiliency Advantage to name a few). She also designs business and non-profit print materials and websites. Leslie's years of experience have proved that patience, creativity, and a sense of humor are valued by her clients and service providers.

Leslie earned a BA in design from Antioch College and was blessed to be a graphic designer by her Spiritual Master, Adi Da Samraj. Through practice of the disciplines He gives to His students: right diet, meditation, yoga, study and seva, she feels informed by the Divine in her service to clients.

She is a proud single parent of 3 grown children, as well as the delighted grandparent of Jacob. She and her intimate, Douglass, live in the Bay Area.
